Congressman John Fleming, a Republican from Louisiana, made the unfortunate mistake of posting a somewhat legendary months-old Onion article to his Facebook page, presenting it as real news. *The internet. That’s a person right? I think people believe  that the internet publishes its own content. If that isn’t the case, then they just must disregard the fact that anyone can use the internet, and publish content on it, and therefore, it might not all be factual. On the other hand though, it is fun to see people take satire seriously.

*The internet. That’s a person right?

I think people believe  that the internet publishes its own content. If that isn’t the case, then they just must disregard the fact that anyone can use the internet, and publish content on it, and therefore, it might not all be factual.

On the other hand though, it is fun to see people take satire seriously.
