*While I don’t believe the image itself is too graphic, I think putting it on the homepage is a little much.
The truth is. Myself, and I’m sure many others, have seen numerous photos of slain foreigners overseas, but so rarely do I see a photo of a slain American, or any death for that matter on American soil. I’m not saying it needs to be seen, but there shouldn’t be a double standard when it comes to photojournalism.
Still though, most sites that host photos like the one seen above, do so with a warning of the content. This on the other hand is sort of forced on the viewer, and I think that’s a little unfair.
Fuck! What the fuck is going on in the world? Glad that THIS New Yorker is out of the state let alone the city.
