*It amazes me the wealth that skateboarder can possibly obtain
And I say this with the most “it’s about time” attitude possible. As far as I’m concerned, skateboarding is one, if not thee, most technical sports out there. Between the spills riders take, and the technicality that has envolved in the tricks, it is truly something amazing.
Of course like any sport, only a small percentage of those that are a part of it, actually can make such an excessive living off of it, like the way Nyjah Huston does. But I think what’s important, is that the possibility is there. And really, when you compare it to some athletes, like baseball players, who make millions, I think skateboarders are getting robbed.
If I’m around, I’ll definitely be watching the finals.
