*Seeing as the new Twitter header is more or less a response to Facebook’s cover photo, I wish they had done something a little more like this.

I just feel this gives the brand/agency/client/etc. an opportunity to own the new space. But to give them this space and place their avatar dead in the middle, as well as have it littered with text, well I just think that’s kind of useless.

Don’t get me wrong, of course there are examples of it being used creatively. But for the better part, that just extends to the avatar being the head, and the header playing the part of a body. And while that is “creative,” I much rather see an image the reflects the brand.
