Literally takes a minute. I sincerely hope these charges get dropped. Outrageous.

It’s an issue that affects many individuals who have “committed” similar crimes. I’ll post the article I have once I find it, but it goes into the details of how easily it is to become a “sex offender” and how the sometime lifelong consequences of that sentence can drastically impact someones life.
Discussing this case specifically though, I do understand that as inane as the details of this prosecution may seem, it is extremely difficult to change these laws because of the precedents that may be set as a result.
Trenton hostage situation passes 24 hours

A hostage situation in the New Jersey capital of Trenton passed its 24th hour on Saturday as police worked to coax out an unidentified armed man who has taken “multiple” hostages amid reports of fatalities.
The Trenton police have confirmed that at least one person inside the house is dead, amid unconfirmed reports of another fatality. They declined to disclose any names or ages of the people still inside.

The fire blackened about 28,000 acres of rugged brush land since starting on Thursday. There is no forecast for containment and the fire was not expected to be under control until May 13, Ventura County Fire Department spokesman Tom Kruschke said.
